DateTime and Time Time Zones
When creating or editing a DateTime field definition there are 2 important options to note:
- DateTime
- Use UTC
- Auto generated values are generated in UTC.
- Values shown in the admin’s Assets view are displayed in UTC.
- Values shown to the user in the DAM UI will be converted to the user’s time zone.
- DateTime Format
- A field in the field definition of a DateTime field allows configuration of a specific format and the field will only accept and return values in that format.

- The Time Pattern field in the field definition allows configuration of a specific format that the field will accept and return values in
- Time Format
Aprimo will not convert the value of Time fields to the user’s configured time zone. The recommended solution is specifying the time zone in the label of the field. E.G. “Last Updated Time (PST)”
